CMC Atlantic Region Associate Composer Martin Kutnowski's composition "Tonadas y Mateadas" was composed in 2015 as a Ventus Machina commission. It attempts to recapture the rhythms and moods of different dances from his native Argentina.
This promises to be a great concert, with a new work by Atlantic Associate Composer Derek Charke and dedicated to Pat Wyman, who passed away before it was premiered in Ottawa for Canada 150.
