About CMC Atlantic

Established in 1989, the Atlantic Regional Office first opened on the campus of Mount Allison University in Sackville, NB. In 2012 the office was closed and re-opened in Halifax in 2015 on the campus of Dalhousie University with Peggy Walt as its Regional Director.

The Atlantic Regional Office actively participates in the East Coast Music Awards, collaborating on the presentation of the Classical Nominees Showcase. As well, the office works closely with local music organizations to promote Canadian composers and Canadian music.
